BACKGROUND Founded in 2006 by Bjarke Ingels. Over 90 architects, builders, designers and thinkers. Young architectural company, characterized by an entrepreneurial spirit, true team-work across expertise areas and new ways of approaching conventional tasks. BIG’s architecture emerges out of a careful analysis of how contemporary life constantly evolves and changes. Headquarters are located in Copenhagen and 12 months ago they started an affiliate in New York.
