3 How ESV could help conservation?  Enhance environmental impact assessment (EIA).  Evidence of economic benefits of conservation.  Support development and spatial planning.  Strengthen the GEP by linking it with environmental degradation consequences.  Develop financial mechanisms and ES markets.  Reduce the financial gap for biodiversity.  Contribute to the achievement of Aichi Targets 1,2,3,11, 19 and 20.

Integrating ES conservation into local development plans. Creating ES markets to distribute costs and benefits in a more equitable way. Implementing financial mechanisms and conservation incentives. Linking ES with protected area‘s financial sustainability. Establishing mechanisms with the private sector.
