One is called Sahara Desert. It’s the biggest desert in the world. It hardly even rains there! There is one called Namib Desert. It’s the smallest desert. Deserts aren’t all hot. Sahara Desert Welcome to Sahara Desert! It’s cold at night. The Sahara Desert stretches across North Africa, from Atlantic Ocean to Red Sea. The Sahara Desert is big and it hardly even rains there. Plants in the Sahara Desert are special. Birds and some animals, live in them.

Spiders, snakes and lizards eat little insects, because they cannot survive without food. Lions and leopards chase animals into the deserts to make an easy meal. -Features The strangest lizard is the Throny Devil! The colour on the Throny Devil changes, yellow to reddish and brown to black, depending on which type of soil it’s crossing. This is a harmless lizard.Their length is 20cm. Throny Devils lay eggs under the ground. They lay 3 to 10 eggs. The eggs hatch 3-4 months later. Throny Devils are endangered. People save Throny Devil’s nests by placing wire around them. By doing this, they keep predators out and hold babies after hatching. This seems to be working.

-Found Coyotes are found in Western America, but people moved them to United States, Cape Cod, Canada and Mexico.

-Food Coyotes eat rabbits, rodents, antelopes, goats, sheep and other animals. They will also eat insects and reptiles. Dead elk, deer and cattle food will also become main food Northern wintertime. Coyotes move closer to people and will also eat garbage.

Coyotes aren't endangered, but please don’t hunt or kill them!
