Originally released 2002 Provides secure computer environment for patient administered testing Only VistA application currently available that stores survey/self report information as data 2,498,520 assessments using MHA instruments completed in FY06

Enhancements, restructuring of associated files, MHA3 Completing beta testing at 4 test sites Significantly strengthens ties to clinical reminders, CPRS Passes progress note to CPRS Creates national testing database

MHA3 and Clinical Reminders Clinical Reminders will work with all MHA3 instruments Instrument results, scale scores, or individual item responses from MHA instruments can be used in reminder logic

MHA3 and Clinical Reminders What percentage of patients in PTSD program present with binge drinking patterns? What is the severity of depression seen in patients enrolled in the pain clinic? How many patients over the age of 65 endorsed suicidal ideation on depression screen?

My Healthe Vet Mental Health Portal Goal: Promote active participation of veterans with mental illness in their health care 3 Major Components in Project: 1)Education and Resource Information for Veterans/Family members/Care Givers 2)Self-Assessment screening tools tied to online educational information 3)Recovery management/self monitoring for patients currently involved in mental health treatment
