General Overview as Outlined in 2013 GAP Guidance Desirae Roehl – ANTHC Healthy Village Env. Program

 Indian Environmental General Assistance Program.  Non-competitive funding source provided by EPA to tribes and tribal consortia.  Provided to help build tribal capacity to plan, develop and administer tribal environmental protection programs consistent with the federal laws that the EPA is charged with implementing.  Intended to assist tribes with opportunities for meaningful participation in policy making and standard setting. Information contained within this presentation was gathered from the IGAP Guidance on the Award Management of General Assistance Agreements for Tribes and Intertribal Consortia (May 15, 2013)
