UFES Overview UFES is the main higher education institution in the state of Espirito Santo. It was founded in 1954, in Vitória. UFES offers 91 undergraduate courses and 50 Post- Graduate Programmes, with nearly students.

UFES has a large Scientific Initiation Programme for under-graduated students, with approximately 1200 students enrolled annually.
