School Times Dapto High School starts at 8:28 every morning and finishes at 2:40 every afternoon. On Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday and Friday we have 5 classes as well as recess and lunch

Thursday School Times. On Thursday we only have 3 classes and recess and lunch because we have sport so school finishes at 2:30.

Canteen At Dapto High, students have the choice to bring their own lunch or purchase something from the school canteen. The canteen operates every day, recess and lunch.

What Can You Buy? At the canteen you can buy: Hot Food Ice Cream Drinks Sandwiches Cakes

Uniform At Dapto High School, we have to wear school uniform. Every student also has to wear leather enclosed shoes. On Thursday we wear a yellow and maroon shirt with black DHS shorts for sport.

Specific Uniforms All girls must wear a polo shirt or a blouse and the maroon shorts and skirts. All boys must wear grey polo shirts and grey shorts.

Holidays Dapto High School has 4 lots of school holidays. We have 3 lots of 2 weeks and 1 lot of 6 weeks for our Christmas Holidays.

Sport Every Thursday is Dapto High Schools sport day. Every student picks 1 sport to do on the Thursday afternoon. This goes on for 1 ½ hours after lunch.

Sporting Carnivals Every year Dapto High School students participate in 3 sporting carnivals. The Swimming Carnival, Athletics Carnival and Cross Country.

Sporting Carnivals Cross country is just long distance running around the school ovals. The athletics carnival has a variety of sports such as high jump, long jump, shot put, discus, javelin and running.

Subjects At Dapto High School, year 9 have the option of picking 2 out of 8 elective subjects along with the normal subjects of: Maths English Science P.E Health History and Geography.

University Students have the option to go along to year 12. This year, students sit examinations that rank them for university admissions. (HSC) Once they complete year 12 and their HSC they can go to university if they get a high enough score.
