2. History of our school Our school started on 2 September, 1967 It cost 10 milion crowns to build it The school had 27 classrooms, some specialized classrooms and a gym

3. Our school today Our school has got 4 colorful buildings which are connected by glass passageways

5. Red building In the red building there are pupils of 1st, 2nd and 3rd classes. There is also a youth centre where children play after school. You can find a school gym next to the red building.

7. Green building In the green building there are pupils of 4th and 5th classes. You can find a school library here. Pupil can buy something to eat or drink in the school buffet.

10. Blue building In the blue building there are pupils of 6th, 7th, 8th and 9th classes. There is also a musical classroom.

12. Yellow building In the yellow building there are specialized classrooms for Physics, Chemistry, Art, Biology, IT and English lessons. Our headmaster has got his office in this building. The school canteen can be found next to this building.

15. Typical school day Lessons start at 8 o‘ clock in the morning. Before lessons begin students leave their coats and shoes in the school cloakroom. Then they get ready for lessons.

16. Typical school day A lesson lasts 45 minutes. After the lesson there is a break. When lessons finish, children have lunch in the school canteen. After school pupils can visit various clubs (ceramics, English, sports, etc.)

17. Teachers Our English teachers are very nice and kind. We learn lots of new things in their lessons. One of our teachers was born in the USA. She is a native speaker.

18. School activities Our pupils take part in a lot of competitions, for example in Czech language, English, German, History, Maths, Geography, Biology, Chemistry, Physics, chess and Art. We often win.

19. Sports at our school Pupils can practise sports in the school gym. Favorite sports are: running football basketball long jump athletics Our sportspeople often win races.
