5 Mission Current Plan  The mission of the JIN is to improve public safety by providing criminal justice practitioners with complete, timely, and accurate information and to improve operational efficiency by facilitating the integration of disparate systems throughout the state. Increasing the capability and user base is essential to integration in order to provide information to the justice community to improve public safety, as highlighted by recent national events.
