Literati by Credo Literati by Credo (formerly Credo Reference) is an in depth research tool that provides access to over 600 e-reference books as well as information literacy tutorials and videos. Access library resources like librarian-created research guides. Get help from Ask the Librarians. Tools provides quick access to finding definitions, images, quotes and more. 1

Literati by Credo Access over 10,000 Topic Pages and 600 books. Browse featured Topic Pages. Topic Pages are entries that provide a main article, images, links to related topics, definitions, and even links to eBooks and journal articles in other library databases—all on one page! 2

Literati by Credo Browse Topic Pages or books by subjects like Art, Food & Beverage, Technology, and more. Select Topic Pages or Books tab. 3

Literati by Credo On the Literati by Credo homepage find videos and interactive tutorials on research, plagiarism, citing sources and more! 4

Literati by Credo You can also filter your search to just images by selecting the image option. This will exclude any results that do not contain images. Do a basic search by entering your search terms. Create a mind map based on your search term to find connections and related subjects. Advanced Search options are available. 5

Literati by Credo On the results page you can browse all results or opt to filter them either by subject, entry type, media or publication date. Links to additional results on your search topic in other library databases.* If a Topic Page is available for your search, this will be listed first. *Clicking on any of the links will not result in you losing your results page in Literati by Credo. 6

Literati by Credo All entries (including Topic Pages) offer automatically generated citations that can be copied and pasted into a document. Always double check the accuracy of the citations. Images may be used for educational purposes only. Images may not be posted online. Mind Maps can be created through the Basic Search and from the Topic Page. 7

Literati by Credo Create a free account to save entries and searches. All entries have a text- to-speech function. Use the Print and Save option to entries and downloaded them as PDFs. If you create and sign into a Literati account, you will find the option to save the entry. 8

Literati by Credo The Mind Map tool (formerly Concept Map in Credo Reference) is interactive and useful for brainstorming topics and finding connections between subjects. It consists of nodes with each node representing a full text entry in Literati by Credo. Hovering over a node opens the summary and option to open the full entry. 9
