Websites for Web Designing and Web Hosting M. Surulinathi Department of Library & Information Science

Website A Web site is a collection of Web files on a particular subject that includes a beginning file called a home page. A hyperlink is a graphic or a piece of text in an Internet document that can connect readers to another webpage, or another portion of a document.

Static Content and Dynamic Content Static content is content that doesn't change frequently. In simple HTML-based websites, each menu choice simply displays a page of content. A dynamic web page is a web page that displays different content each time it's viewed. For example, the page may change with the time of day, the user that accesses the webpage, or the type of user interaction. There are two types of dynamic web pages.
