I.e. improve agricultural practices, fighting local diseases. Stimulate regional cooperation through analogous problems in neighboring countries INTAS Call 2004 with Uzbekistan Eligibility criteria 2 NIS countries + 2 INTAS members Min. 1 team from Uzbekistan  Research projects only Duration 24, 30 or 36 months Funding € 150,000 for grant duration max. 25% total grant to teams from INTAS members Min. 75% total grant to NIS teams. And UZ team(s) gets min. 50% & max. 80% of this budget Example: 75% of €150,000=€112,500 for NIS teams  max. €90,000 for UZ teams
