THE RELUCTANCE OF PEOPLE TO HEED WARNINGS IS A PERCEIVED PROBLEM THAT OUR BLOCK CAPTAINS CAN SENSITIZE THE COMMUNITY BY DELIVERING OUR ANNUAL HURRICANE PREPAREDNESS PACKAGES. PLAN HOME OWNERS ASSOCIATION EMERGENCY PLAN VERSION 4-1

Communications Responsibilities  Communicates with PSL, ST. Lucie County, 911 & EOC as directed by BOD/ERC  Assigns FRS radios & monitors appropriate emergency frequencies with Ham Radio

Standard Operational Procedure  1. Go to Club Home  a. Sign In on "TEAM Log Sheet"  b. Receive Assignment and Briefing  c. Sign for and pick up Radios  d. Sign Out on "TEAM Log Sheet"  e. Take "Damage Assessment Forms"  2. Leave to Assess your assigned AREA  a. Look for Red HELP card attached to the home  b. Assess the situation using your form  c. Contact Zone Leaders by Radio to report damages  d. Continue looking for damage in your assigned AREA  e. Contact Zone Leaders by Radio to report assessment complete.  3 Return to Club Home  a. Sign In on "TEAM Log Sheet"  b. When all teams have returned, we will report to the clubhouse  c. Sign In on " ERC Log Sheet"  d. Report to the exercise room - "STAGING AREA"  e. Be patient, prepare yourself, drink water, cleanup, etc.

ZONE LEADER The community has been divided up into five color coded zones The zones are coded Yellow (161 homes), Green (166 homes) Blue (109 homes) Orange (113 homes) Pink (140 homes) A zone leader will be assigned to each zone.
