Grammar

*Most reported questions have a main verb in the past tense. They use the same tense changes and word changes as in reported statements. Wh questions Reported questions: الأسئلة الغير مباشرة معظم الأسئلة التي تبدأ بـ ( wh ) عند تحويلها إلى الغير مباشر نتبع نفس تغييرات الأزمنة و الكلمات المستخدمة في الجمل0

She asked what was the time. *Reported questions change the word order of the original questions. “ What is the time ?” She asked what time it was. NOT X لاحظ تغيير ترتيب السؤال بعد تحويله للغير مباشر0

* ask can be used in reported speech with or without a personal direct object: She asked me how I was. She asked who I was. أحياناً يأتي مفعول مباشر بعد كلمة ( ask ) أو لا يأتي0

Report the following questions: “ What is your name ? ” he asked. He asked “ How old are you? ” I asked “ When does the train leave? ”

المعلم للإنتاج الإعلامي Saudi Arabian Football Federation The Football Federation in Saudi Arabia was started in 1959 AD. There were six clubs in that first season and the first matches were played on 12 February 1960 AD.
