DOF-ENERGY software First version (1.0) of the DOF- ENERGY software was released on july 2000 based on EN 832 standard. Latest version (1.2) was updated according EN standard. Language: Finnish or English DOF-ENERGY provides easy way to evaluate energy consumption and heat loss distribution of the buildings. There are more than 100 different printout that you can produce with the software. DOF-ENERGY is pure stand alone program. It does not require any third party software, but it can use DOF- THERM if it is available. DOF-ENERGY can be used in windows 95, 98, 2000, NT and XP. Downloading/updating/installing the software can be done from internet. Software can be tested freely (in DEMO-mode). In Finland there are more that 1500 registered users of DOF-THERM and DOF-ENERGY softwares. D.O.F. tech 001

Solar radiation Solar radiation can be manually inserted or imported from database. Each calculation model can include unlimited amount of radiation groups. D.O.F. tech 001

Heated and unheated space(s) Each calculation model can include unlimited amount of heated and unheated spaces. Most of the space parameters are nationally defined table values (like ventilation system values and heat capacity values). These values can be found in nationally defined online help files. Envelope items Each space can include unlimited amount of envelope items (walls, roofs and so on). User can define envelope items properties manually or pick the values from structural databases. User can also use the DOF-THERM software to calculate actual U-value for the item. D.O.F. tech 001

Fast modelling: Wizard templates With wizard templates the calculation model can be generated rapidly. Even the user can create new templates to the database, this saves time when same base model is used again D.O.F. tech 001

RESULTS: Heat loss coefficient This report is usefull if the national design criteria is the averaged heat loss coefficient. All results are updated after any changement done in calculation model. D.O.F. tech 001
