 Did you know here on campus we train Automotive Technicians and professionals that work for major automotive manufacturers?  How about a degree field that’s constantly fluid and changing day by day with new technological advancements in propulsion technology?  Our goal in the Automotive Technology Management program is to give graduates the hands-on, technical experience these jobs require, and backing them up with solid business, engineering, or technical skillsets to ensure success!  Technical proficiency  We train you to work with the latest in state of the art equipment on the latest vehicles  Manufacturer support means we have manufacturer scan tools, manufacturer vehicles and tooling, and manufacturers that want to hire YOU!  Business sense  Many of our graduates earn a minor in Business Administration; which not only looks good on a resume but prepares you for the exciting and fast-paced business world present in the Auto industry.  Options  Even if you aren’t sure of the area you may want to be a part of, Automotive Technology Management allows you to choose from three within the major…  Technical  Management  Engineering

 If you haven’t been to Central Missouri Speedway and seen the OTHER UCM sports team you haven’t seen anything yet!  The SAE student chapter has a B- Modified dirt track car that is run nearly every weekend during race season. Built, owned, and funded exclusively by students and alumni.  They have won 9 times this year, and have the track championship mathematically won.

 Be driven and self motivated  Actively pursue learning opportunities that are hands-on  Have a passion for mechanical things and how they work  It doesn’t have to be vehicles!  Ask questions!   
