You can go to a community college for 2 years and then transfer to a 4-year college to earn a Bachelor’s degree. It takes 4 years (full-time) to earn a basic college degree. In vocational school you only take classes for the type of work that you are going to do. You go to vocational school for 6 months to 2 years and earn a certificate. In vocational school you learn a job hands-on.
