HISTORY Founded by Hugh Evans and Simon Moss in 2008 to put an end to extreme poverty in this generation. Successfully campaigned for the Australian government to increase foreign aid to 0.5%. Has a presence in New Zealand, UK and Australia expanding to USA in 2012.

THEORY OF CHANGE Business, government and charities working together to end extreme poverty. Change rules, structures and systems that contribute to poverty Take meaningful action to change policies and practices that keep people in extreme poverty.

IMPACT Global Citizens = 1.5 million actions have been taken to prevent extreme poverty and over 30 policy and financial victories have been secured. Live below the line = over 50,000 participants have taken up the challenges to eat and drink on the same base as extreme poverty line. The end of polio = global poverty project has contributed 750 million dollars into exterminating polio.

1.4 BILLION REASONS CAMPAIGN Developed in 2009 as a multimedia presentation. Explores the issues that contribute to extreme poverty. Helps explain how to prevent extreme poverty.

THE END OF POLIO CAMPAIGN The End of Polio campaign for funding. Works toward the political eradication of polio forever.

THE LIVE BELOW THE LINE CAMPAIGN Helps change the way people think about poverty. Challenges people to live below the poverty line for five days.
