By: Scheherazade Salar Tyrannosaurus Rex

 It walked on two legs and balanced its big head with its long heavy tail.  Like most dinosaurs the T-Rex had an S curved neck, but because it had such a big head, it also had a lot of muscles to support it.  The T-Rex usually lived in forest areas because this is where it’s prey could be found.  The Tyrannosaurus Rex was one of the biggest carnivores to live on the land.  They were mostly found in the USA, Canada and east Asia.

 Earlier T-Rexes were most likely to be covered in feathers.  They are the trademark of the dinosaur kingdom.  The biggest complete T-Rex skeleton was sold in 1990 for $7.6 million.  Female T-Rexes were bigger than males.  They lived for about 30 years.

Big Head Long heavy tail Short arms Strong legs Muscly neck
