Subtask 1.5.2: Evaluation of innovative sensors in the Gulf of Trieste monitoring station

Task Achievements New technology was added on the MAMBO buoy (Monitoraggio AMBientale Operativo = Operational Environmental Monitoring Mooring) in August 2006: - new controller to collect the data from different sensors and transmit the measurements in real time to the off-shore station; - new sensors (bottom ADCP).

Implementation and Refurbishing of the MAMBO Buoy

MAMBO Buoy deployment

Deployment

Task Achievements Collection and real time posting of data (last 10 days) on the OGS webpage Archiving of quality controlled time series: wind velocity and direction, air temperature, air pressure and humidity, water temperature and salinity.
