Reptiles All reptiles are cold-blooded. The types of reptiles are lizards, turtles, snakes, tortoises, crocodiles, and alligators. Some reptiles are venomous like the king cobra but not all of them. Some are small and some are huge like the leatherback turtle. All reptiles shed skin.

Iguana

Iguana The Iguana lives in Southern Canada to Argentina, Madagascar, Fiji, and in Tonga. The iguana has a “third eye” that can tell light from dark an detect colors. This eye can’t focus on anything because the lens and the skin over the eye is not see through. Iguana’s are herbivores and don’t eat meat like bugs. They eat mature leaves of trees with some flowers, fruits and berries.
