HADITH

Hadith "Allah does not look at your figures, nor at your attire but He looks at your hearts and accomplishments". [Muslim]. نَسْتَعِينُ وإِيَّاكَ نَعْبُدُ إِيَّاكَ we ask for help. and You alone we workship You alone Verse No. 4

نَعْبُدُ From the same root ع ب دMeaningsعِبَادَةمَعْبُود

نَسْتَعِين From the same root ع و نMeanings عَون، تَعَاوُن إسْتِعَانَة إعَانَة، مُعَاوِن

نَسْتَعِينُ وإِيَّاكَ نَعْبُدُ إِيَّاكَ we ask for help. and You alone we workship You alone 4 To worship You also we need Your help. To worship You also we need Your help. مُسْتَقِيم Straight

المُستَقِيمَالصِّرَاطَ اهدِنَا the straight (to) the path, Guide us This is the help that we need. This is the main Du’aa of the Surah. This is the help that we need. عَلَيهِ مْ أَنعَمْتَالَّذِينَ صِرَا طَ on them You have bestowed favors (of) those The path

أنْعَمْتَ favorMeaningsإنْعَام You have bestowed favors

عَلَى + هُمْ = عَلَيْهُمْ Meanings them on عَلَيْهِمْ Like بِهِم، فِيهِمْ، إلَيهِمْ Easy to say it!!!

أَنعَمْتَ عَلَيهِمْ أنبِيَاء أنبِيَاء صدّيقين صدّيقين شهدَاء شهدَاء صَالِحين صَالِحين Let us take the top one, Muhammad, pbuh He recd. the guidanceHe recd. the guidance Understood itUnderstood it Propagated itPropagated it Did tazkiah (purificn. of those who accepted it)Did tazkiah (purificn. of those who accepted it) Implemented the laws in the societyImplemented the laws in the society & Became successful here & the hereafter.& Became successful here & the hereafter.

عَلَيهِ مْ أَنعَمْتَالَّذِينَ صِرَا طَ on them You have bestowed favors (of) those The path Ask Allah from the depth of your heart that you want to follow in all those areas

غَيْرِالْمَغْضُوبِعَلَيْهِمْ not (of) those who earned (Your) wrath on them وَلاَالضَّآلِّينَ ( 7) [and] nor of those who go astray.

مَظْلُوممَغْضُوب To Remember مَغْضُوب One who is subjected to ظُلم One who is subjected to anger

ضَالٌّ those who go astrayMeaningsضَالُّونضَالِّين the one who goes astray

A person follows the wrong because: He does not know He does not know He does not want to follow He does not want to follow Worst case: Who knows but does not follow; that is why it is mentioned first. غَيْ رِ الْمَغْضُوبِ عَلَيْهِ مْ وَلاَ الضَّآلِّينَ (7) not (of) those who earned (Your) wrath on them [and] nor of those who go astray.
