2 Revision of the last class
أَلْحَمْدُ ِ للهِ رَبِّ الْعَالَمِينَ (2) Al-´amdu lillaahi Rabbil `Aalameen (All) the praises and thanks (be) to Allah, the Lord (of) the worlds. الرَّحْمٰنِ الرَّحِيمِ (3) 'Ar-Ra…maanir Ra…eem The Most Gracious, the Most Merciful. مَالِكِ يَوْمِ الدِّينِ (4) Maaliki Yawmid-Deen (The) Master (of the) day (of) the Judgment.

3 Let us continue Surah Al-Fatihah
We remember the day of judgment. We all want to get the rewards and gifts on that day and we don’t want Allah to be angry with us or punish us. So we say: إِيَّاكَ نَعْبُدُ وَإِيَّاكَ نَسْتَعِينُ (5) 'Iyyaaka na`-budu wa 'iyyaaka nasta-`een You alone we worship and You alone we ask for help. Practice 3 times

4 We worship Prayers, fasting, Zakah, Hajj, remembering Allah, …
What is worship? Prayers, fasting, Zakah, Hajj, remembering Allah, … And after that??? Acquiring knowledge. Coming to school, studying subjects, Qur’an, ISL, math, science, English,... Also, listening to parents, teachers, helping others, sharing things with brothers and sisters…

5 We worship Allah will then make everything easy for you
Do all these things to make Allah happy and it is worship. Allah will then make everything easy for you and also reward you for that. (Most important: Salah comes first)

6 We ask for help. وَإِيَّاكَ نَسْتَعِينُ (5)
wa 'iyyaaka nasta-`een and You alone we ask for help. We ask for help. O Allah! Without your help, we can not do any thing. We can not worship you. With Your help, everything is possible. Praying on time, studying Qur’an, studying other subjects, listening to parents, teachers, being nice to people, avoiding bad things, …

7 Let us practice at least 3 times
To make Allah happy – He is watching; with understanding; and with feelings (that we try our best to be like this). Of course, when we say this, we will try our best today and everyday to practice it. Otherwise, it will be lie and Allah hates a liar. إِيَّاكَ نَعْبُدُ وَإِيَّاكَ نَسْتَعِينُ (5) 'Iyyaaka na`-budu wa 'iyyaaka nasta-`een You alone we worship and You alone we ask for help.

8 'Ihdina‹ Širaa¨al Musta-Âeem
Let us go to next verse. Asking for guidance… اهْدِنَا الصِّرَاطَ الْمُسْتَقِيمَ (6) 'Ihdina‹ Širaa¨al Musta-Âeem Guide us (to) the path, the straight. Practice 3 times

9 Guide us, show us, … The Straight path, the right way to do things.
To live the life, the best way. Have you seen anyone walking in a zigzag way? No, it is a crazy way. Walking straight on a straight road is the best, the shortest way, and the quickest way.

10 Guide us, show us, … Similarly, in this life, we need to know the straight way to live. How to worship Allah. How to be nice to mummy and daddy, to brothers and sisters, to teacher, to friends, etc. How to spend time. Study when it is time for study and play when it is time for play.

11 Guide us, show us, … MOST IMPORTANT PRAYER.
QUR’AN SHOWS US THAT WAY. Prophet Muhammad pbuh has shown us how to practice it. Therefore, we should study Qur’an and study the life of Prophet pbuh and Allah will show us the right way.
