4. HADITH Hasan bin `Ali (May Allah be pleased with them) said: I remember (these words) from Messenger of Allah (PBUH): "Give up what is doubtful to you for that which is not doubtful; for truth is peace of mind and falsehood is doubt". "Give up what is doubtful to you for that which is not doubtful; for truth is peace of mind and falsehood is doubt".[At-Tirmidhi]

6. Open your notes & Take out your pencil  Let us study it verse by verse.  Keep looking at your notes for writing imp. points ….

7. Du'aa al-Qunoot (2) اَللّهُمَّ اهْدِنِيفِيمَنْهَدَيْتَ O Allah! Guide me with those whom You (have) guided

8. عَافَيْتَ فِيمَنْ فِيمَنْ وَعَافِنِي You have protected With those whom And protect me Qunoot

9. تَوَلَّيْتَ فِيمَنْ تَوَلَّنِيوَ You have taken care of With those whom Take care of me and Qunoot

10. أَعْطَيْتَفَيمَاوَبَارِكْ لِي You have given In what And bless me Qunoot

11. وَقِنِيشَرَّمَا قَضَيْتَ and save me (from) the evil (of) what You have decreed Qunoot

12. وَلاَ يُقْضَىٰ عَلَيْك َ إِنَّكَ تَقْضِي and none can decide against You Indeed You decree Qunoot

13. إِنَّه ، لاَ يَذِلُّمَنْ وَّالَيْتَ Indeed, he is not humiliated whom You have befriended Qunoot

14. وَلاَ يَعِزُّمَنْ عَادَيْتَ And he is not honored whom You have shown enmity against /opposed Qunoot

15. تَبَارَكْتَرَبَّنَاوَتَعَالَيْتَ You are blessed our Lord and You are exalted / sublime Qunoot

16. Silent Study for 2 min. Use your pencil to mark or underline new words. And now translate…

17. Du'aa al-Qunoot (2) اَللّهُمَّ اهْدِنِي فِيمَنْ هَدَيْتَ و َعَافِنِي فِيمَنْ عَافَيْت و َعَافِنِي فِيمَنْ عَافَيْت َوَتَوَلَّنِي فِيمَنْ َتَوَلَّيْتَ

18. وبَارِكْ لِي فَيمَا أَعْطَيْتَ وَقِنِي شَرَّ مَا قَضَيْتَ إِنَّكَ تَقْضِي وَلاَ يُقْضَىٰ عَلَيْكَ Qunoot

19. إِنَّه ، لاَ يَذِلُّ مَنْ وَّالَيْتَ وَلاَ يَعِزُّ مَنْ عَادَيْتَ تَبَارَكْتَ رَبَّنَا وَتَعَالَيْتَ Qunoot

20. قواعد – Grammar

21. 21 We have learnt the following 4 Styles of فَعَلَ d. سَمِعَ، يَسْمَعُ b. نَصَر، يَنْصُرُ c. ضَرَبَ، يَضْرِبُ... a. فَتَحَ، يَفْتَحُ

22. 22 Most of the Arabic Verbs are made of 3 root letters, such as: ف ت ح ن ص ر ض ر ب س م ع Let us Take Special Cases!

23. 23 و as in وَعَدَ، وَلَدَ or ی as in رضي، هَدَى or ا as in قال، كان then… weak words are formed If one of these 3 letters is:

24. 24 و ي ا Weak Letters Weak or ‘sick’ letters (حروف علت ). Why ‘sick’ (عِلَة)? Because the sounds of these 3 letters are that of a sick person!! (ooo!, aaa!, eee!). They are weak because they get ‘tired’. Beauty is that they work in a team! They keep replacing each other!!!

25. 25 تَجِدُ وَجَدَتْ يَجِدُ يَجِدُونَ وَجَدَ وَجَدُوا لاَ تَجِدْ لاَ تَجِدُوا جِدْ جِدُواتَجِدُ تَجِدُونَ وَجَدْتَوَجَدْتُمْ أَجِدُ نَجِدُ وَجَدْتُ وَجَدْنَا 107 * وَاجِد، مَوْجُود وُجُود وُجُود He found When practicing in Arabic, say it as if you are talking to Arabs 90% of 1719 forms are the ones we are practicing here. c ضَرَبَ، يَضْرِبُ

26. 26 تَعِدُ وَعَدَتْ يَعِدُ يَعِدُونَ وَعَدَ وَعَدُوا لاَ تَعِدْ لاَ تَعِدُوا عِدْ عِدُواتَعِدُ تَعِدُونَ وَعَدْتَوَعَدْتُمْ أَعِدُ نَعِدُ وَعَدْتُ وَعَدْنَا 124 * وَاعِد، مَوْعُود وَعْد وَعْد He promised When practicing in Arabic, say it as if you are talking to Arabs 90% of 1719 forms are the ones we are practicing here. c ضَرَبَ، يَضْرِبُ

28. 28 Go to higher grades in Jannah The Prophet (PBUH) said, "The one who was devoted to the Qur'an will be told on the Day of Resurrection: `Recite and ascend (in ranks) as you used to recite when you were in the world. Your rank will be at the last Ayah you recite”. [Abu Dawud and At-Tirmidhi].

29. 29 Compare our struggles for this worldly ‘house’ with… The Eternal Promotion!   Which is more important?????   What do we want……????   Worldly house OR PALACE in Jannah….!!!!!

30. 30 For a house in this world…. Most of us work for years to save money to build a house in this world! When the house gets ready, people cross their middle age (and some even die before they ‘enter’ it.)

31. 31 And we know that we will not live in such a house forever! The longer we live, comes the old age with many problems….

32. 32 For an eternal Palace THERE… Devote yourself to Qur’an i.e.,recite, understand, implement, memorize, propagate, etc. as much as possible, to get eternally promoted and live in the best state of health and facilities. to get eternally promoted and live in the best state of health and facilities.

33. 33 But we are busy!!! We are BUSY for a house in this world and for reading and understanding Quran we say “WE ARE BUSY”…. Should we not GET BUSY for eternal promotion and the real enjoyment? All it takes is the change in our attitude towards Al-Qur’an.
