When Mission was Built (Founded) My mission was built on September 25, 1791. My father of my mission is Father Fermin Lasuen.The mission is called the exultation of the holy cross.
Mission Site The mission site is on a buff in the city of Santa Cruz, near the mouth of the San Lorenzo Rivet and the Nutive site of Uypi on the Monterec buy. Moved to this location in 1793.
Father Junipero Serra Father Junipero Serra was born in November 24, 1713 and died August 28, 1784. He died at the age 70.
