What is the disease? The common cold is a viral infectious disease The common cold is also know as; nasopharyngitis, rhinopharyngitis or acute coryza The are over 200 viruses that cause the common cold The common cold affects the respiratory system, which then primarily affects the nose This here is a image of a variant called rhnovirus

what is the cause of the disease? Rhimovirus is the most common form, while others exist like; Coronavirus, Influenza, Parainfluenza and Human Respiratory Virus. The common cold is transferred via the air, through airborne droplets (expelled when sneezing or coughing). Can all so be transferred via direct contact with infected objects. The virus can survive for some time outside the human body.

what type of disease is it? The common cold is an infectious disease An infectious disease can be transferred between humans, and even animals. The common cold, like other infectious disease’s result in a pathogenic biological organisms growing and living in the host.

who commonly suffers from the disease? Everyone. Most people while contract the virus in their lifetime Humans are actually thought to be immune to the disease, and the symptoms are only a result of fighting the disease.

what are the signs and symptoms of the disease? Signs and symptoms of the common cold are; a cough, runny nose, blocked nose, and a sore throat. Sometimes other symptoms like, muscle ache, a headache, and tiredness can all so result from the common cold.

what is the treatment of the disease? Not many precautions can be made to prevent catching the common cold, washings hands with soap is one of the only ways to protect yourself, you should always cover your mouth when sneezing and coughing to prevent the transmission of the disease to someone else. The duration of the cold can not be shortened, but medication can ease the symptoms. Pandadol can ease headaches and muscle aches, lonzengers or gargling salt water for your through, and drinking plenty of fluids, and getting sufficient sleep can ease the symptoms.
