doc.: IEEE /0957r2 Submission July 2011 Daning Gong, CATR Outline Several S1G spectrum are available in China with different equipment regulation requirements. Information of available spectrum and regulations in China are provided for ah discussion. Slide 2

doc.: IEEE /0957r2 Submission Regulation in China The mandate of “Micro-power (short range) technical requirements for wireless equipment ” is issued in Sept. 5, 2005 by Radio Administration Bureau of Ministry of Information Industry of China, and carried out in Oct. 1, [1] [2] 14 types of equipments and corresponding regulations are defined in the mandate, in which 12 types of equipments work on S1G spectrum. July 2011 Daning Gong, CATR

doc.: IEEE /0957r2 Submission Conclusions Each frequency band is suitable for 1-2 typical use case of ah. Lots of spectrum resource is available in MHz and MHz in which regulations require no interefence to wireless broast and TV services. Usage of wireless broast and TV in this band in China need to be verified. Max Tx power is about tens of mW for short distance usage, coverage of ah should be considered in system design.
