Thesis Statement "The European Union mission did not go as planned but their succesess outweighed their downfalls The main goal of the EU was to ensure peace by executing European integration.

Goal and Resistance of the EU With the main goal of peace in mind, the EU, led by prime minister Tony Blair, had to find territory between France and Germany. The USA would help them to do this in compromise. The EU was determined to make a more free, and prosperous nation, though international relations. Britian was an issue because they didn’t feel that needed to be apart of the EU because felt they were a world power and people needed them but they just needed the alliance with the USA.
