Animal experiments are used around the world to develop new medicines and to test the safety of other products. Many of these experiments cause pain to the animals or reduce their life span.

 Experimenting on animals is acceptable if pain is reduced in all tests.  Humans benefit from animal testing as they do not get hurt or die.  Causes suffering to animals  The benefits to humans are not proven  Even though products are tested on animals, it may have a different effect on humans

 All drugs are tested on animals E.G - HIV treatments, Aids vaccinations and all prescription drugs
