University Advancement Alignment Comprehensive alumni engagement and relationship model for OSU and OSUAA Coordinated effort for the offices of University Relations, University Development and the Alumni Association Working together for awareness, engagement, relationship building, and support

University Advancement Alignment Alignment Outcomes: Brings alumni and friends into meaningful contact with OSU on as many levels of interest and commitment as they are willing to consider at any point in their lives Relationship-building with a continuum of engagement opportunities from least to most committed

Advancement & The College of Medicine Aligning our strategic agenda- every communication piece, event, and solicitation- to support the Ohio State and Medical Center goals and vision Build relationships at all levels and offer a path for increased involvement and support Coordinated marketing/communication Increase our alumni contact and visit points

Fiscal Year 10 Giving Results Totals for Medical Education and Scholarship 7/1/2009 – 3/31/2010 Total Giving $818, 771 including new pledges, planned gifts, and cash Scholarships $798, 056 Capital Building $3,043 Other Programs $17,672 FY 11 Planning process underway with fundraising goals to be determined. This will be finalized in June.

The Ohio State University Campaign Currently in the planning phase of the campaign All gifts made since January 1, 2009 are part of the campaign total. The key areas for support fall in five categories: place students first, elevate faculty and academic excellence, create modern learning environments, embolden the research agenda and drive high impact innovation Next steps include developing the campaign case statement and recruiting the campaign committee.
