Oasys Concrete Analysis & Design Oasys have three concrete analysis and design programs: two are standalone (ADC and AdSec) and one is an aspect of GSA, our finite element analysis program (RC Slab). They each look at different aspects of reinforced concrete design, with varying levels of simplicity and sophistication.
ADC
ADC – concrete design ADC/AdBeam Multi-span concrete beam and slab design
ADC – concrete design ADC/AdBeam ADC/AdCol Multi-span concrete beam and slab design ADC/AdCol Concrete column design
ADC - International Design Codes BS 8110: 1985 BS 8110: 1997 BS 8110: 1997 (2005) EN 1992-1-1:2004 Eurocode 2 Code of Practice 1987 Code of Practice 2004 (including amendment 1-2007) AdSec 8.0 greatly expanded to international choice for engineers, to include Additional UK and HK codes Plus US, Australian and Indian codes ACI 318/ACI 318M 2002 ACI 318/ACI 318M 2005 ACI 318/ACI 318M 2008 AS 3600 2001 AS 3600 2009 IS 456 : 2000

AdSec
AdSec – non linear section analysis Reinforced concrete Composite sections FRP materials ACI 318 AS 3600 EC2 BS 5400 BS 8110 HK SDM / CP IS 456 AdSec advanced enables you do analyse Composite sections such as concrete filled or wrapped steel columns Add carbon fibre plates to existing concrete beams Use FRP rebar
AdSec - Sections Simple & complex sections
AdSec - Ultimate Capacities – Axial / Moment
AdSec – Ultimate Capacities – Moment/Moment/Axial

Any Questions? GSA basic concepts Now does anyone have any questions? Just write them in the question box in your right hand toolbar. Let me know if there’s some part of the software that you’d like me to go over. Ok well lets see what questions we have. Sorry we don’t have time to answer all your questions right now but we will be answer all your questions by email very soon. And if you didn’t get a chance to put your questions in I’ll send out a survey which you can put any additional questions in.
