Facts About Haiti 3rd hungriest country in the world 22% of Haitians suffered from chronic malnutrition, and the average Haitian eats only 1 meal a day, or nothing at all Life expectancies: Male: 53 yrs Female: 55 yrs 80% of Haitians live on less than $2 per day Adult illiteracy is 62% 70% w/o electricity, 90% w/o running water, 80% w/o sanitation 1 doctor for every 10,000 people in Haiti Piped water delivery is unreliable or non-existent, so Haitians everywhere carry jugs or rely on water delivery

Hope for Haiti… Best Solution Hope for Haiti is the best possible solution because… - provides clean water - helps build and restore schools - help pay for school tuitions - helps farmers produce more crops - helps build homes Hope for Haiti is helping Haiti get back on its feet and hopefully helping them become as strong as they once were before. Hope for Haiti has raised a tremendous amount of money to put towards repairing Haiti.
