 What is Surrealism?  Who were famous surreal artists?  When and where did surrealism originate? Surreal Research Slide Surrealism is know as beyond real. Surreal Collage The Surreal techniques that I used are Juxtaposition, feathering, and distortion. All these techniques were used on the penguin. The lasso tool, masks, and magic wand helped to make this image.

Cameo Appearance in Art The Famous painting is American Gothic. I used Magic wand to edit the image as well as masks to help blend it in more. I used the fill tool to try and make the skin match with the old image.

Cameo Appearance in Movies The movie is Are We There Yet. I used magic wand to cut out the image and mask to help blend it in. I moved the movie picture over the original picture and cut it out so it would pop out.

Impressionist Research Some of the famous painters that used this style of art were Monet, Pissarro, and Degas. They used dabs of paint and different shades of colors to express their work. This style shows people doing normal, everyday activities. Impression, sunrise By Monet, 1873 The water lilly pond, By Monet

Op art Research Op art began in October, Op art was created to fool the eye into believing the image is moving when really its not. Some famous painters where Bridget Riley and Victor Vasarely. Movement in squares, By Bridget Riley.

Op art Practice

Op art Final I used patterns to get myself started and then used to filters to get the rest done. I used the bloat tool to bulge out the middle and the pucker tool to make the edges jagged a bit.
