55  I used juxtaposition by placing a sloth in an astronaut suit and placing a flagpole in his hand  I used feathering to fade the outer space scene with the scene of the clouds.  The mountains in the background are distorted, since they are originally flat. I distorted them to create a circular feel about them.

56  Surrealism is the abstraction of reality in art in order to create something that is beyond our perception of the world.  Famous Surrealists: Salvidor Dali, Man Ray, and René Magritte  Surrealism originated in the early 1920s as a result of Dada activities during WW1 and triggered a global art movement.  2 Famous Paintings:  The Empire of Light by Rene Magritte (c. 1950-1954) Salvador Dalí. (Spanish, 1904-1989). The Persistence of Memory. 1931. The Empire of LightRene Magritte

57  For this image, I took my friend Austin and used dislocation to place him in Da Vinci’s The Last Supper. I used the lasso tool to cut him out from his original image, and used clothes from the art piece and placed them on him using new layers. I then adjusted the saturation to make him look like he fits in the painting. (This image is in no way meant to deface any religion)

58  In this scene from The Hangover, I used dislocation to make it appear as though my friend Austin was in the elevator. I used the lasso tool to cut him out from his picture, and then I adjusted the hue to make it match the scene’s lighting. I then made a new layer with Zach Galifianakis above everyone so it looked like Austin was behind him.
