WORKER-FRIENDLY SCHOOLS AND LEARNER-FRIENDLY WORKPLACES Elements of “Worker-Friendly” Schools –Schools are workplaces for teachers, counselors, librarians, coaches, cafeteria workers, clerical staff, custodians, security guards, bus drivers, and other workers. What policies, practices, and conditions, should be in place for these workers? Elements of Learner-Friendly Workplaces –Learner-friendly workplaces support learning both for workers and the children of workers. FOR WORKERS FOR CHILDREN OF WORKERS
