What is the CapeFLYER?  Key = Partnership between local interests (Cape Cod RTA, Cape Cod Chamber, local legislators, etc.) and State agencies (MassDOT, MBTA, etc.)  Goal = to provide additional mobility option reducing congestion and improving air quality.  Use existing under-utilized assets (rail bridge over the canal, rolling-stock that would have been in layover, MassDOT right-of-way)  Connections to ferries, inter-city buses, etc.  Significant emphasis on the bike community A Regional Initiative: CapeFLYER

During the pilot Summer: 16,786 customers on the CapeFLYER Over $266,000 in fare revenue More importantly - reaction from the customers, the local business community and the media o Saw first-hand each week at Buzzards Bay o Over 4,000 followers on social media outlets CapeFLYER Success!!
