Signs and Symbols of Our World How do we make meaning with symbols?

Unit Summary Students will learn about signs and symbols – how they are used and what they mean. They will learn to recognize letters (sounds, the written symbol and sign language), words (sight words and student names), parts of speech (nouns and verbs), number sense, graphs, diagrams and charts.
