A Prayer for Refugees and Migrants in New Zealand 2015

We pray for all people who have recently made their home in Aotearoa New Zealand. May they feel welcome in their community and make friends with those around them. Help them share the talents they have with others as they start their new life. E te Ariki, whakarongo mai ki a mātou

We pray for all refugees forced to leave their homes. We remember all those who have been turned away by others. Bring them to a place of safety where they may find warm and welcoming hearts. E te Ariki, whakarongo mai ki a mātou

We pray for those who have lived long in this land. Help them to look beyond themselves and care for others. May they welcome the stranger in their midst, and speak out for justice. E te Ariki, whakarongo mai ki a mātou

Let us remember the Day of Prayer for Refugees and Migrants for 2015 is on Sunday 21 st June
