4. HONESTY Signs of success….. Is loyal to their friends
Knows what is right and wrong and always chooses what is right
Can be trusted

5. A story about dishonesty….
A milkman became very wealthy through dishonest means……

6. He had to cross a river daily to reach the city where his customers lived.
But while we crossed the river, he would mixed water of the river generously with the milk that he would then sell for a good profit.

7. One day he went around collecting the money from the sales of his watered down milk in order to celebrate the wedding of his son.
With the large amount thus collected he purchased plenty of rich clothes and glittering gold ornaments.

8. But while crossing the river the boat capsized and all his costly purchases were swallowed by the river.
The milkman was speechless with grief.

9. Then a big voice came from the river,
“Do not weep. What you have lost is only your dishonest gains you earned through cheating your customers.”

We thank you for calling us to be your sons and daughters.
Let your light shine on us so that we may see and understand your gospel values and grow in Faith, Hope and love.

12. We make this prayer through Christ Our Lord
Through the intercession of St Mary of the Cross MacKillop and St Patrick, let us not be afraid to speak out for what is right, and let our learning be guided by your Holy Spirit so that all in our school will be empowered today for tomorrow’s world, wherever that may take us.
