Learning Target The learning target explains to the students what their academic goal is for the lesson. It allows them to specifically understand what they are learning in the lesson and what they are supposed to be able to do. Learning Target Cards- Did I reach my Learning Target?

DRA2- Reading Assessment The DRA2 Assessment allows teachers to systematically observe, record, and evaluate changes in a student’s reading performance. Reading The curriculum is Good Habits, Great Readers. It is designed around the seven researched based habits and strategies of great readers. Math Performance Expectations The students will be placed in Math groups. This will allow me to differentiate instruction. We do math groups on Monday, Lessons on Tuesday-Thursday and problem solving math groups on Friday. They do check points during the week in order for me to know the skills they need to work on. Count 10’s and 100’s forward and backward from 1- 1,00 from any number. Identify the ones, tens, and hundreds place in a number and the digits occupying them. Write 3 digit numbers in expanded form = 346

Math Performance Expectations Compare and order numbers from 0 – 1,000. Group three digit numbers into hundreds, tens, and ones in more then one way. Add and subtract two digit numbers Estimation Create and State a rule for patterns

Math Performance Expectations Solve an equation in which the unknown number appears in a variety of places. Know the name and value of each coin. Determine the value of the collection of coins totaling less then one dollar. Tell time to the minute.

Math Performance Expectations Measurement to the nearest whole unit in both metric and US Customary Units Collect, organize, represent, and interpret data in bar graphs and picture graphs. Problem Solving and Word Problems Introduction to Multiplication and Fractions

Math Fluency Math Fluency is part of the state standards. 6’s – 20’s Subtraction and Addition Activities in class to help build fluency The students have 2.5 minutes to complete half a page. They can miss 2 and pass on to the next number. Pages will be sent home for practice

Science Life- Insects and Marine Science Physical- Solids and Liquids Earth- Pebbles, Sand, and Silt
