Causes of e. coli E. Coli can be received from: Animals at petting zoos or barns Bad food, such as raw meat and unwashed fruits/vegetables Other people that are already infected

How to prevent E.coli You prevent E.coli by: washing your hands often (especially after contact with animals, and before and after eating) You can kill E. coli pathogens with heat
