A Biographical Presentation By Ms. Drake

Born July 21, 1951 in Chicago, Illinois. His mother was a model. His father was a Ford Motor Executive, and his great-great grandfather was the Senator and Governor of Mississippi. 1969: Graduated high school from Redwood High School in Larkspur, California. Originally went to college for Political Science, but then transferred to Julliard School of the Arts to study Theatre. Afterwards, he began his career as a comedian. Fun Fact: Voted Least Likely to Succeed by his High School Classmates

He was discovered on an episode of Happy Days where he played an alien named Mork. This character ended up being the inspiration for the spin-off show Mork & Mindy.

Consequences Consequences can be seen in his films, the inspiration he provides to others, the joy his characters bring to the lives of others, and the universal themes and life lessons that many of his characters provide to audiences worldwide.

His life inspired people through his words, his characters, and his imagination. His death raised an awareness for the importance to educate society about the reality of depression and mental health. “He was a person who could not only be incredibly funny, but was also capable of reaching considerable depths. His death puts some cracks in the notion that people who have mental illness are different than you and me, and opens up the opportunity for dialogue about mental illness.”
