Connecting Generations Home of Creative Mentoring, Seasons of Respect, and Creative Transitions Respect is the act of giving particular attention to and consideration or a special regard Seasons of Respect

Connecting Generations Home of Creative Mentoring, Seasons of Respect, and Creative Transitions History Dr. Katie Leep created the SOR curriculum based on her experience with the Summer of Respect Program. It piloted in the Spring of 2007 at 6 schools throughout Delaware. The first full year program was in FY School and student participation has continually grown in spite of funding cuts over the last 2 years.

Connecting Generations Home of Creative Mentoring, Seasons of Respect, and Creative Transitions the difference between respectful behavior, which everyone deserves, and feeling of respect for someone, which is earned; the importance of positive emotions in their classrooms and behaviors they will agree to in order to support these emotions; and strategies for working together to avoid or resolve peer- to-peer conflict and prevent bullying. Connecting Generations Home of Creative Mentoring, Seasons of Respect, and Creative Transitions Trainers There are 4 Part Time SOR Trainers presenting the program throughout the state. All of them are knowledgeable in the content, experienced with the age level and demonstrate excellent classroom management. Kim Taylor is a retired School Counselor with 30 years of experience. She not only facilitates training but also recruits new schools through out Sussex County. Beverli Simms-Jackson is a retired educator and administrator of 36 years. Her service area includes New Castle and Kent County Diane Simon recently retired as an educator and administrator with 33 years of experience. She works primarily in New Castle County. Pat Scarano taught Art for over 25 years in urban Wilmington Schools. She presents SOR sessions in New Castle County.
