Math Grouping We will be looking at three different assessments to determine groups. 1. Spring M.A.P. tests (2 nd grade) 2. Fall M.A.P. tests (3 rd grade) 3. The Singapore Math Placement test 4. Chapter 1 Singapore Math unit test Once the four assessments have been completed, we will sit down and get individual averages for all third graders. We will then list the students in order according to their average and establish groups.

Math Grouping Mr. Kilibarda and Mr. Wilkinson will be teaching the students who average the highest on the three assessments. (Tier 3) Mr. Moen will be teaching the students after that group. (Tier 2) Mr. Kroening and Ms. Spooner will be teaching the group of students who place after that. (Tier 1) These classes will start on October 8 th.
