GEO - Group on Earth Observations Intergovernmental organization was established in May, 2005 Promotes the concept of establishing global earth observation system Global Earth Observation System of Systems (GEOSS). The GEOSS Common Infrastructure allows the user of Earth observations to access, search and use the data, information, tools and services available through the Global Earth Observation System of Systems. GEONETCastGEONETCast is a Task in the GEO Work Plan and is led by EUMETSAT, the United States, China, and the World Meteorological Organization (WMO).
