By 2003, Asia Pacific will have 183.3 million subscribers, compared to 162.8 million subscribers in the US, and 162 million in Western Europe. Main drive factors: Lower access costs, improvements to infrastructure, and pent-up demand. In 2005, China will be the largest Internet market in the region, followed by Japan, S. Korea and India.
