The Legend of Big Foot by Patsy Orlando

The Legend of Big Foot By: Patsy Orlando

The boys are packing up to leave for the Allegheny Forest. They are putting all the camping gear in one bag, the food in another and all the Hi-tech gear in their cases. We take all the stuff out to the trucks and then we are off to the forest. “Wow!” says Josh, “We are finally here!” Chris answers, “Yes, it was a very long ride.” Josh and Chris are excited because they want to film Big Foot in the forest.

That night, they get the camp all set up and are sitting around the fire roasting marshmallows. They are also finishing wiring all of the little camera monitors. All they have to do is have a couple of boys go set up the cameras. So, Patsy volunteers to go along with five others, Gary, Zack, Adam, Bob and Big Mike. They walk deep into the forest, setting up the cameras all over the place. All of the cameras are equipped with night vision and thermal heat sensor cameras.

The boys successfully set all the cameras and they go back to camp to see if the rest of the crew got everything synched and ready to start recording. They go back to find they are all ready to record, so they turn all the lights off, and they start recording. The boys have a couple of people go over to the sound station where they knock and howl. Sometimes, Big Foot returns the sounds back to the people.

Grrrrr!!

The boys start howling and doing knocking calls. They want to see if they can get any responses from the Big Foots in the forest. So, they wait about thirty seconds, then they get a response. A big howling growl type of noise! Everyone is thinking that there has to be a beast in these woods! The boys wait for thirty seconds and all at once they get a response! A big howling growling noise is heard. Everyone whispers, “There has to be a beast in the forest!”

The boys hear the noises. They start turning all the computers and televisions on and start recording the sounds. They activate the cameras, and they start looking at the monitor for about an hour. Then they finally spot Big Foot howling! Big Mike shouts, “This is the biggest Big Foot I have ever seen!”

The sound starts to get closer, and they think that Big Foot is right outside the camp. They hear the most unexpected sound ever! They hear the Big Foot growl, “You humans better leave us alone or else!” Then he runs back in to the deep, deep forest.

Gary stands in amazement and says, “What just happened?” Josh tells him, “Big Foot just talked to us!” Jeremiah shouts, “That is just crazy!” Josh cries, “I never knew they talked!” Patsy looks at Chris, “That sure is something new to document!”

After that encounter, all the guys go and get the big cage to put in a tree. So when the Big Foot goes under it they can trap him. Zach said, “We have three more days until we have to pack up and leave.” The whole group agrees that they can capture Big Foot before then.

So they start pulling the cage up into the trees. Now the boys can start making the trigger mechanism for the cage. The boys also were getting the bait ready and in position.

The cage is in place and the bait is ready. The cameras are filming and everyone is getting ready. The whole crew starts calling and knocking, then they hear something respond. “I'm coming for you humans!” Big Foot runs and dives for the bait. He loves the smell. He goes under the cage, the trigger mechanism is pulled and BAM! It locks the beast under the cage. The boys take Big Foot back to there town’s zoo, where he lives happily and gets to eat well everyday.
