Kidnap on the Mountain

You go to the store with your parents but you don’t want to go inside with them. You had a long day and you feel like you’re going to collapse. Mom says, “Okay, we’ll lock the doors and be right back.” You sit in the car and watch them walk away. After they are inside you get comfortable and close your eyes, falling asleep almost instantly.

Something bumps into your back, waking you up. When you open you’re eyes everything is still dark. “How long did I sleep,” you say to yourself. When you try to sit up you hit your head on something. You feel around and realize that you’re not in the backseat of your car. Your heart starts racing, your mind is spinning, and you feel like you can’t breathe. “Where am I? Where are my Parents?” you think. Then, light floods in and blinds you.

Your eyes adjust to the light and you see two people holding open the trunk door, which you now realize is where you are. You scream and one of the people sticks a needle in your arm and you start to feel dizzy. Your eyelids feel heavy and you can’t keep them open. You close them and pass out. When you come to, you’re all curled up and can’t move. You realize you’re in a sack. You hear the trunk open and light begins to filter through the burlap.

You get picked up and taken out of the trunk. You’re set on the ground and you can feel the gravel under you. The sack you’re in is opened. DO YOU; Try to crawl out as fast as you can and hope to escape? -OR- Stay still and pretend to still be asleep?

You crawl out of the bag as fast as you can. Unfortunately, not fast enough. A tall, buff man with a ski mask on grabs you and throws you over his shoulder. You kick and yell but his grip just tightens. You give up on kicking, squirming, and yelling because you realize that you’re on top of a mountain. The nearest town looks at least 3 miles down the mountain.

They take you inside an old, run down house and lead you to a small back room. Various boxes are piled to the ceiling everywhere except for in the center of the room. You’re thrown in and the two men leave, closing the door behind them. “This can’t be real. Why would they want me?” you think, “I’ll never get to see my family or friends again” You start to cry after that last thought. After awhile, you decide to take a look around the room.

You move some boxes to find a door behind them. You open the door and look out it. It leads right off a cliff and into a lake at least 50 feet down. “What are you doing?” says the buff guy. You look back out the door at the lake below. DO YOU; Jump out the door and into the lake? -OR- Close the door and not risk the fall?

You close your eyes and let your body go limp. “She’s still out, do you want me to take her in the house?” asks a gruff voice. Then another voice answers, “Yea, put her in the back room.” Then the bag closes and you get picked up. You hear a door open and the steps of the person carrying you on a creaky floor. You hear another door open and then you are set down on a wooden floor. The man opened the bag and looked in at you. You had your eyes closed again so he left and closed the door behind him.

You crawl out of the bag quietly. DO YOU; Go out the door you came in and risk being caught? -OR- Stay in the room?

As you’re falling you begin to gain a lot of speed. You’re flailing your arms and legs trying to figure out how to land. You try to position your body like a dive but are too late. You hit the water that feels like cement. Everything goes black. THE END Try again?

You turn to face the kidnapers. They both hold guns up and point them at you. You’re holding your breath. Then a gunshot rings out and the kidnapers fall to the ground. You see policemen step out from behind the doorway. They explain that someone heard your screams and reported it. After that, they came as fast as they could. You’re returned to your family safely and things return back to normal. THE END Try again?

You open the door as quietly as possible and peek out, the house is empty. You run out the front door and down the mountain as fast as you can. You find the nearest house and ask to use their phone. You call 911 and tell them about the kidnapers. They’re caught and arrested. You are returned to your family and never again stay in the car by yourself. THE END Try again

You stay in the room and look around. There are boxes piled to the ceiling everywhere. You look in one of the boxes and find some food. You’re starving so you eat some. You don’t feel good and decide to lay down. You close your eyes and see a bright light. THE END Try again?
