The schedule Lesson 1: 1 st reading - for enjoyment Lesson 2: 2 nd reading - recapping the food vocab and working out a simple story map by days of the week Lessons 3 & 4: 3 rd reading - working out the life cycle of the butterfly by making a small origami booklet (e.g. I can see a little egg on a big green leaf.) Lesson 5: making a paper caterpillar using cut-outs, writing down the food eaten on each day and creating a new ending (e.g. Then it went to bed. / Then it had toothache. / Then it felt happy.) Lessons 6 & 7: making a zig-zag book about a crazy animal (e.g. the very crazy elephant) which gobbles up some funny things (e.g. On Monday, it ate a bike.)
