Presentation transcript:

Bellwork Pick up a piece of plain white paper from the table. Pick a word from the bag (no trading, unless approved by me!) and wait for further instructions.

Driving Vocabulary We covered some basic driving vocabulary, now we are going to go more in depth. Everyone has a different word and should have picked up a plain white piece of paper.

Driving Vocabulary You’re going to need to illustrate the word you picked out of the bag. This time, your drawing matters and you need to be as detailed as possible. You must write the definition on your picture and color the picture.

Alignment: - All of the elements that make your car go straight are called “alignment.” The inclusive term “wheel alignment” involves three main measurements caster, camber, and toe. These measurements have standards that a technician uses as targets of adjustment.

Driving Vocabulary Obviously we don’t have computers, but you can use your phone to look up images and I can look up any images that are particularly difficult. If you finish in 15 minutes or less, you have not put enough effort in. This should take most of the period.

Driving Vocabulary Keep in mind that your pictures will be displayed in the room!

Exit Card 1. How well do you feel like you know the word you illustrated today? Could you teach it to someone else? 2. What is the biggest concern you have about driving? Explain.
